When is the RECORD ATTEMPT and what are the opening hours?
Rally will be held on Sunday 20th June, 2021
Event Gates Open at 12pm, this will allow for travel to and from the event site from across the country.

How much are tickets?
The Event Pass is priced at £10 and will include your event pass, lanyard, car number and stickers and will all be posted securely in the week before the event. Or add a commemorative MX-5 1K cap with the Event pass plus pack.
Are there any concessions?
No Concessions are applicable to this event.
Are children welcome?
Yes, Children of all ages are welcome at this event. Please make sure to accompany them at all times
What is the price for car parking?
Parking is free for all in attendance.
Is there disabled access?
Yes, please clearly display your Blue Badge before arriving on site.

Are there crèche facilities?
No we do not offer Creche Facilities at our event.
Where can I stay?
There is a large range of accommodation in the Area.
We are happy to recommend the Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel. This four star Hotel is just 12 miles from Elvington and is the perfect base for the day and visiting the historic City of York.

Why do I need to pre-register?
ALL ENTRANTS MUST PRE-BOOK FOR CONTROL & SAFETY REGULATIONS.
To take part you must pre-register your Mazda car and driver details. The booking system on the MX-5 Owners Club shop will add your details to the Guinness World Record evidence submission, as well as add your details to track and trace registration - on arrival your entrance pass will automatically log you in to the attempt.

WHERE DO I GET MY EVENT PASS?

I am not a member and in an MX-5 where will I park?
All MX5’s will be directed to and parked on the airfield.
Non-Mazda’s are not able to attend this event all vehicles on site must be associated with the record attempt.

Can I park next to my friends?
Arrive together to park together, we are unable to move vehicles on site once parked.
As a member, can I come in another car that is not an MX-5?

Are there Area Member meeting points?
No Social Distancing regulations are still in force at this time, people should congregate in groups of no more than 6 people and remain socially distanced at all times
WHAT's ON AND How can I get a programme?
This day is a Record attempt only, all information will be sent to participants ahead of the day.
CAN I DRIVE AT THE EVENT?
Yes, you will be expected to drive your car at this event. There is no speed related activity permitted.
IS THIS A TRACK DAY?
No.
This day is purely a World Record attempt. Anyone driving irresponsibly will be immediately asked to leave the site.

Are dogs permitted?
No Dogs are permitted onsite at the record attempt venue. It remains a live airfield and driving venue.
Dogs are welcome in the Air Museum.

There will be portable toilet facilities on site. Please follow social distancing measures when queuing and waiting on toilets. We recommend that members plan to make comfort breaks before attending the attempt.

WHAT IS THE MEDICAL/FIRST AID PROCEDURE?
Please advise one of our site stewards or marshals of any incident, they will take you to the medical provision on site.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE?
If fire is discovered please advise an on-site steward immediately, do not tackle the fire yourself.
